Challenger Yacht Voyage

It is only a few days now until we set sail from Portsmouth on a Challenger Round the World Sailing Yacht.  Myself and four young people from the Lizard will be joining young people from Lancashire and Scotland onboard the 72 ft boat to sail around the South Coast of England.

It will be an exciting trip and hopefully not too chilly, we will update you when we return!

Poldhu Cove - Beach Clean

This Saturday, Lizard Outreach Youth helped clean up one of the local beaches. Working in partnership with Surfers Against Sewage we helped kick off their Motivocean 2011 Beach Cleaning Tour!

 With over 60 volunteers helping out that day the team managed to shift around 60bags of litter, weighing in at around 220kgs!

Thanks to all of you who came for helping make Poldhu Beach a better place for everyone!
